On Friday September 14, 2018 at 6:00 p.m, Wayne State University Center (WSU) for Latino and Latin American Studies (CLLAS) will hold its 47th anniversary & annual celebration.

The annual gala marks the beginning of WSU’s observance of National Hispanic Heritage Month. This year’s event will be held at El Kiosko Banquet Hall, 7271 Dix Street in Detroit.  The annual gala generates additional funds for endowment and scholarship support to further CLLAS’s mission of providing equitable access to quality higher education for low-income, first-generation, and underrepresented students.

The American Human Rights Council (AHRC-USA) is a proud supporter of this great cause and this important program. AHRC-USA urges all to join, attend, and donate in order to help CLLAS advance its mission.
